CCMPO Regional Transportation Model Documentation: 2000 Base Year Model ~ Version 2.3.0 :
The Chittenden County Model is an integrated land-use allocation, transportation, and air quality model designed to perform a wide range of analyses. The model includes several advanced features that place it on the cutting edge of improved modeling methods required to meet the needs of 2005 Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU) and the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. In addition, several features recommended by the Travel Model Improvement Program of the US Department of Transportation and Environmental Protection Agency are incorporated into the Model.2008

Williston Comprehensive Transportation Study: Final Study Report:
Williston
This study had two key objectives: 1. To characterize and assess Williston's current transportation system; and 2. To develop a methodology for the Town to use in assessing the effects of developments on the transportation system. To address the first objective, WSA worked with the Study steering committee to develop a framework for continuously monitoring, measuring and reporting on the performance of the Town's transportation system. The performance measures identified are tied to the Town's transportation goals as documented in its Comprehensive Plan and will therefore help the Town assess, on a regular basis, how effectively investments in and management of the transportation system are helping the Town achieve the Plan goals.2003

Route 15 Corridor Improvement Plan Burlington to Essex Rail Project: Travel Demand Modeling Methodology and Results:
Burlington / Essex / Essex Junction / Winooski
The purpose of the study is to determine the corridor?s performance with a coordinated signal system. In addition, this study identifies opportunities and constraints for improving intersection and corridor performance. To evaluate performance a model was developed and calibrated through field observations.2002

Chittenden County Decision Support System ~ Task 1.2: Influences on Land Use and Development ~ Final Report:
This report discusses major influences on transportation behavior and land use in two steps. First, it reviews general trends and influences, first on land use, and then on transportation behavior. Second, the report looks in detail at how four types of cross-cutting influences?demographics, economic trends, changes in the transportation market, and regulation?affect both transportation behavior and land use in Chittenden County, using local data where possible.2001

Land Use Allocation:
Documentation for the Land Use Allocation Model for CCRPC & CCMPO.1995

Richmond Traffic Network Analysis & Plan for Implementation (Richmond Transportation Planning Study):
Richmond
This report describes work completed for the Town of Richmond Traffic Network Analysis and Plan for Implementation. The purpose of this project is to provide Richmond with a highway plan and set of implementation procedures which effectively respond to current and future concerns.1992

U.S. Route 7 ~ Town of Milton: Traffic Engineering-Transportation Planning Assistance Project:
Milton
This memorandum summarizes the findings and recommendations for the examination of locations along U.S. Route 7 in the Town of Milton. This document reflects comments received from the Town and the client, the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC), at a preliminary briefing, and is accompanied by four scaled aerial photograph plan sheets depicting the recommendations. The memorandum is organized by the four locations examined along U.S. Route 7 intersections with: 1. Lake Road, 2. Main Street, 3. Middle Road/Railroad Street Extension, and 4. West Milton Road/Racine Road. Each of the locations is discussed below beginning with a description of existing conditions and observed problems.1989

Development of the Chittenden County Regional Travel Demand Model:
This report describes the structure and development of the Chittenden County Regional Travel Demand Model. The objective of the model development effort was to produce a planning tool which could be used to consistently evaluate the regional transportation effects of a range of roadway improvement and development projects. The effort consisted of the design and administration of a resident survey questionnaire, collection of land use data for the entire Chittenden County region, compilation of data describing the region's roadway network, estimation of mathematical equations to describe residents' travel behavior, and implementation of the model into a commercial transportation planning computer package; TMODLE2.1989

Williston/Taft Corners Transportation Study:
Williston
Analysis of traffic impacts of growth in the Taft Corners area of the Town of Williston. This study analyzes existing and future conditions, and presents detailed recommendations for upgrading the area's transportation system through a combination of public and private resources.1987
